Exhibition at La Casa Amarilla Gallery, Málaga, Spain
06/02 to 29/02/2025
In her first solo exhibition, French artist FufuLène offers us a visceral exploration of silence, repressed emotions and the relationship between the body and ceramics. Through her works (which embody pain, transformation and resilience), the artist transforms clay into objects that engage in a dialogue between catharsis and confrontation.
This exhibition invites us to immerse ourselves in the unsaid, in those emotions trapped beneath the skin. The use of ceramics acts as a tangible memory of wounds, fractures and healing processes to confront collective anguish and frustration, questioning the role of a society that demands functionality while stifling authenticity. More than an exhibition, ‘Con las tripas afuera’ is an invitation to look our emotions in the face, to recognise their weight and their impact on our daily lives. After all, silencing pain produces a state of silent anxiety that causes dissatisfaction, which is often difficult to detect and resolve.
